We are giving away 4 free copies of Halo Wars to our members. All you have to do to be eligible is become a member.
Points are given for members for adding all kinds of content and participating in the site. Pretty much anything you do gives you points. You will now receive the most points for referring new members right now its 10. Add content to see how many points for other items. You can even get points for giving a star rating.
To get points for referring members check out your my accounts section and there is a referral url that you should use in your links when you post on other sites or email, etc. Just post that link on other sites and if someone becomes a member after clicking your link you will get the ten points.
Two limited collectors editions will be given away. The first copy will be given away to the user with the most overall points. You get points by contributing to this site as in adding videos, blogging, participating in forums, commenting on other peoples content and even rating content. You pretty much get a point for just about everything you do on here. Some things are worth more than others so start adding and communicating. The second copy will be given to the member with the most friends. So bring in your buddies and sign them up. note: (It doesn't make sense to not accept a friend request so the other person doesn't get another friend since you would be getting one to.) The person with the most friends is going on now and anyone who has friends now will be able to count them. The user points contest will start anytime. The signal will be a blog post by halowarsworld which will show up on the homepage and the member points will be reset.
Two copies of the standard Halo Wars will be given away. The first copy will be given to the best content voted on overall and will include any kind of content from video to articles to cheats etc. So make your own special video or write the best article and let the members vote on it, this contest is going now. The second copy will be a random draw from the members pool who have contributed a certain number of points, that point threshhold will be given when the limited addition contest begins. (The most points winner for the limited edition cannot win both and his name won't be used in the draw.)
Note: Your original points will not be reset like originally planned. Instead all new points for this contest will be set to zero and while the contest is going they will be under the free game contest category. When the contest is over the points will go back to normal so you don't lose your existing points.
